headlight

Bulb: The bulb is the source of light in a headlight. Traditionally, halogen bulbs have been commonly used, but newer cars may feature LED (Light Emitting Diode) or HID (High-Intensity Discharge) bulbs, which are more energy-efficient and offer better illumination.
Reflector: Behind the bulb, there’s a reflector that directs and focuses the light beams forward. It’s often made of polished metal or reflective material to maximize light output.
Lens: The lens covers the front of the headlight assembly, protecting the bulb and reflector. It’s usually made of durable plastic or glass and is designed to be transparent to allow light to pass through without distortion.
Daytime Running Lights (DRLs): Many modern cars are equipped with DRLs, which are low-intensity lights that automatically turn on when the vehicle is running during daylight hours. They improve visibility for other drivers and enhance the car’s visibility on the road.
